This light is crazy bright. I got the 6500K Ramping Driver which gives me 3 different Modes I can set. The power button can be fully pushed (clicks), or half pressed. By default the 3 Modes are as follows... Mode 1 - 100% power Mode 2 - 1.5A (maybe 30% power) Mode 3 - Strobe at 100% Power Access the 3 modes as follows (starting off): Full press (click) - Mode 1 1 half press - Mode 1 2 half presses - Mode 2 3 half presses - Mode 3 Note that half presses must be fast. You can program what each of the 3 modes do but it's a little complicated. I created a YouTube video called "Convoy C8+ SST40 Ramping Driver Programming" that has an accurate chart that works great. I attached the chart here for convenience.

سؤال: I have a Convoy C8+ UV that has an extension that allows use of ***** batteries. Will that work on this one?

csiluk I'm 99% sure that the SST40 is a 3v led. Using 2 18650 cells in series would be too high a voltage. So no, I would highly recommend NOT using the extension tube. It's an amazing light just the way it is! But if you get one and try it, let us know what happens. Better order 2 if you plan on trying it!

Works great! I added it to a ceiling fan so I could control it using Google and Amazon Echo. Wiring was simple, setup was easy using the Smart Life App. The fan switch had 2 wires (black) connected to it. One was the line (hot), connected to Line In. The other was connected to the fan, connected to line out. Connected a neutral (white) to Neutral In. Connected the 2 original switch connections to SW1 and SW2. Had to toggle the circuit breaker on/off 6 times to get a flashing light, used Smart Life app to add the wireless switch. Now I can turn the fan off/on with the original switch or use voice commands with Google or the Amazon Echo. Inexpensive way to automate your home!

The Astrolux FT03 lights up a big area. It's amazing how much light comes out of this small flashlight. It works with the 26650 and 18650 batteries and comes with 1-26650 and an adapter sleeve so the smaller 18650 battery can be used. I also own a Convoy C8+ which is smaller and lights up a smaller area (see picture). I like the default user interface on the Astrolux, simply press and hold the power button to ramp up to the desired brightness. Pressing the button once sets the brightness to the previous used brightness. Pressing the button twice sets the Astrolux to Turbo mode which is maximum brightness.. It has a USBC port built in that allows charging the battery without removing it. Be aware, charging won't occur until the battery voltage is < 4V. You can even check the current battery voltage by pressing the power button 3 times. If the battery voltage is 4.1V it will flash 4 times, pause, followed by 1 flash. You can also lock the light by pressing the button 4 times. Do this and hand it to a friend to try and watch them struggle to turn it on. Press the button 4 times again to re-enable it. This package comes with the battery and USBC charge port so nothing else is needed to use it. Absolutely love this light!

BG334011561 Ifyou want to charge the battery but it won't because the voltage is too high. I discovered a quick way to get it to charge. Plug in the USBC cable, then power on the flashlight for a few seconds. When I power off the flashlight, most times the charging starts. It's a good way to top off the battery to start with a full charge.

Made a WiFi extension cord I con control with my phone, Echo, or Google. In the US the line (hot) is the smaller of the 2 prongs, the larger prong is Neutral, it was easy to wire. Now I can remotely turn On/Off anything I connect to the extension cord. Took about 20 minutes total to setup. With a WiFi extension cord the possibilities are endless!

Nice compact light, throughs a lot of light for its size. You can set 2 different modes. First mode is 5%, 40%, and 100%. Second mode is 5%, 40%, 100%, Strobe, and SOS. Full press (clicks) turns it on. Half press (no click) changes to next setting. To switch modes (1 and 2), turn on light, if at 5% it will blink once after 5 seconds. As soon as it blinks off turn it off with a full press (click). Next power on will be in the other mode. The default 1st setting is 5% in both Modes 1 and 2. The light seems to remember the last setting used if you use that setting for several seconds. For example if you switch it to 100% with half presses, wait 5 seconds or more and turn it off. The next power up will be at 100%. Convoy makes nice lights!
