Prompt delivery to the UK, came with a EU plug, but that was not a problem as I have some kettle type pc power supply cables handy. I checked that the replacement cable had an earth before using. A couple of things I noticed during assembly. That the thumb wheels are green injection moulded with numbers around the edge, not as the Youtube assembly videos show to be 3d printed black ones. The top cross bar had shallow counterbores for the set bolts, which did not cut a full circle and therefore the bolts were proud of the top face. (I did examine both sides, one side should have been deeper). This caused a problem fitting the Z axis top bearing plate. I ended up packing underneath with an old credit card with drilled 9mm clearance holes. The Z axis screw drive did not run parrallel to the upright as the plastic bar on the stepper motor had to be packed out with 2mm worth of old credit cards. I ran it for the first time today, printing out a 20mm cube and all seemed to be OK, then tried to print 3dBency which after 10 minutes or so the filament feeder started to click and no filament was being extruded, I noticed that the printer was printing air. The mains RCD fuse box then tripped. After restarting the printer I selected the Temperature/Nozzle to 200 deg C and the mains RCD tripped again. Not sure whats going on, I'll have to raise a ticket, but they have no up and running website!!!! They have a Facebook group but I'm not a member and have no desire to join. (As Facebook is nothing but data collection and profiling).

سؤال: Hello, can this printer print ABS?

السؤال بواسطة Shadoward على 2020-02-13 05:47:18

vinnyP Noidea as I've only used PLA but, the temperatures are higher for ABS. Nozzle 235 degrees C rather than 200 for PLA and a bed temp of 110 degrees C rather than 50 degrees C.
