Without a doubt the absolute best value drone on the market in 20-21. Nothing else comes close for video quality in this price range, or even double. Closest is Mini 2 at 5x the price.

Seems OK, good for the price. Can't attest to longevity as haven't had a chance to use it much, but I can't see it being an issue. The wee light is a bonus but the main reason I bought it was the iron holder and crocodile clips. Should be handy for soldering fiddly stuff. Seems OK build quality - you couldn't ask for better really - certainly not for the price. Arrived surprisingly quickly to NZ. I ordered something nationally at the same time and it's still not here. Considering this had to come from China, it was a good effort.

A simple thing done well. Yes you can get one at bummings for half the price but you’re going to use them all the time. Get good ones. As I’m in nz the plug is correct - and nice and compact. Plus you have the added bonus of being able to plug foreign plugs straight in without an adapter. So if like me you have some dodgy gadgets with round two prong plugs etc this is a really tidy solution. Love Xiaomi stuff.

Seems OK so far, but can't attest to longevity. Was a good price and arrived very quickly. More high-tech than the last couple of hardware store cheapies I've had. I'm hoping the finer tip and temp control will help me solder better. But I suspect most of it's just practice. Came standard with an NZ/AUZ plug (probably just because that's the China standard too, but a point worth noting for those of you down under. It's nice to not be messing with dodgy adapters. Although they included one anyway for some reason. Bonus.

Was a bit tricky to put together in places - definitely not for kids. I got it for my 9 year old son but it was too delicate. So I ended up building it and I was pretty happy with end result. It's not going to fly - i can't imagine it'd last long, just for hanging from his ceiling. Spray painted yellow, looks good. I got the motor version just so we'd have a prop. If I was to choose just one of these to try, I'd go with the Sopwith Pup.

It's solder. It's three bucks. What can I say? It seems to work at least as well as other solders I've used.

Hats off to Eachine, the E010 is fantastic. So much bang for buck. I've had a few mini drones and these fly the best by far. Very stable. Very light. Battery seems to last for ages. The ducted design means you can usually recover from hitting the ceiling or a wall. And the kids can crash them over and over with no damage whatsoever. Trying to keep a stable height is a little tricky for young flyers, but still, these are easier by far than any other mini quad I've tried. Delivered all the way to New Zealand for not much over $10? Magic. I don't know how they can pack so much tech - a multi-channel controller, battery, charger into such a sweet little quad for so little money. Highly recommended!! I'll be buying more Eachine quads for sure - so pleased I'm keen to try their larger ones now.

This was easier than the SpaceWalker and I think, better looking. The motor cowl came out real nice. Not for kids though. I bought for my 9 year old and there's no way he could do it. It took me the best part of a day. But this one came out perfect. A light sand and a couple of spays with clearcoat and man it looks good - if I do say so myself. Going to hang from ceiling not fly. Wish I'd got the motor version, if just for the prop. Downloaded instructions weren't exactly clear but were OK. All in Chinese but pictures weren't bad. .

I ended up with 2 packs of these as the first one didn't include the security torx. But Bangers put it right and sent me another one, which worked fine. Cheap, but do the job if you only need to do occasional repairs on your Xbox One controllers.

Using these in a 3D pen. Includes 2 types, the stinky stuff that's strong - PLA? And the other one - ABS? that from memory is more flexible and better for the kids in that it doesn't smell too much. Either way. All good. Can't go wrong for the price.

Using these in a 3D pen. They work just fine. Nice to have lots of colours to play with. Cheap, fairly quick delivery. Hard to go wrong for the price.

Arrived with 2 the same - and I needed the security torx. But it's the putting right that counts and Banggood sent me a new pack. So credit where credit is due - good customer service. Product itself is as you'd expect. Just cheap plasticy things but they get the job done. If you need to hack or repair your Xbox One controller and it's just a one-off, you're not going to be doing it a lot, these are good and cheap.

I don’t have another one to compare it to but for the price this is a great craft tool for the kids - and me! Buy plenty of filament at the same time. It’s not expensive. Because it takes a while to get the hang of it. Chinglish instructions were a laugh - don’t touch the noxel! But it’s easy enough to work out. Just got to press the forward button to fire it up. There’s plenty of vids on youtube. Cord could be longer. And the plug is a round two prong so has to be adapted in nz and Auz.

Arrived in original box not well dumped so epo foam was pushed in the corner of the leading edge in fuselage and needed a repair. Flaps was installled with servos! Then i modified my model removing paint joining wings with ply spars. I added cockpit details and made a sliding canopy. I changed esc to a 50A to run 4s. Flies great very fast and precise. On the grass it always hits nose on the ground needs a "hand pull" for the first metres. Same for landing. I put 3mm to increase rake.

Arrived fast. Just a few days to New Zealand. Nice packaging, Xiaomi quality all round. Easy to mount on ceiling and wire up. Instructions in Chinese but not hard to follow pictures. Bright enough for a small room. Low profile, looks good and high quality. Warm colour option is nice. And the moon 'nightlight' is perfect for kids. Paired to remote, no worries. App is pretty good so far. Just a really neat product. I've bought a few other Xiaomi wifi gadgets - swtiches and whatnot, can't wait to try them out with this (they haven't arrived quite as quick). But for the money, totally worth it - I couldn't buy a dimmer off the shelf here for that price, let alone get it wired in, let alone buy a nice light fitting plus a bulb. Highly recommended.

Nick Sadly this model has a known fault. Not BG's fault, more something Syma should put right. Basically Syma altitude hold models drop out of the sky when you pull down stick for more than a second or two. So one second you're descending slowly, next it's a brick with a camera attached. There are some sketchy fixes on youtube, but I was expecting better - even if it is 'just a toy' as some say.

I’m in New Zealand and this arrived in just over a week. It overtook 2 other orders - generally things take 2-3 weeks to get here from so good effort. Package looks great I’m expecting good quality from Syma but can’t comment yet as it’s an Xmas present.
