Onsen-bun Hi :) No, it is not slow rising. It is in fact such a magnetic thing for the fridge. The topping is complete hard and falls off very soon. You can use it ( the roll itself) as a stress ball, but it is not soft at all. Not as hard as the topping, which is like plastic, but as a very sturdy sponge.
