Pretty cool toy. I notice on mine that the heat dissipation block at the bottom is "live" with an uncomfortable voltage It isn't really a shock, but there is a burning sensation off of it, and it is not hot. Unsure if this is supposed to be that way and I did try to multimeter a voltage on it, but the multimeter just went haywire - couldn't read anything. But everyone says they can feel it - especially if touching just one fin with a finger. Touch more of it and the sensation is less, but that is expected with electricty.

Seems good, but be aware that the binding posts will not take banana plugs. I have ordered some bigger plugs and I think I will fit this inside the a case and breakout the power switch leds and power connectors. But for this price, it really is great value

I received this today along with the Adapter for it. I cannot remember what this is for, so I'll need to investigate some, but packaged well and arrived undamaged

This is a handy addition. The led lamp is bright and the clips grip well and came be moved pretty much exactly where necessary. I recall it claims to have two brightness options, but I'm not sure how - I think it has only a single switch. Maybe one brightness is battery powered and the other usb powered? I didn't try batteries in it.

Enk Ihave not received mine yet, but it claims to be able to measure up to 700v RMS. But why would you want to measure mains voltage? Or mains frequency? I would have thought that although the voltage may change bit, the frequency would always be spot on? I think power networks fail quickly if frequencies are off??

arrived a bit bent. they are very sharp and poked through protective sleeving. but easily straightened

Read the instructions, which were not included- need to cut the chipholder. Unless you know that it is not possible to work out how to solder the LEDs and the chip. or at least I couldn't work it out!
