Arrived in time, works as expected at a sensational price. However you have to find out by yourself how to connect the three pins. They are not labeled on the PCB, so have a look at the pictures in the online description: + and - are the supply pins, O is the output. There are no daylight sensor and no delay/sensitivity settings here (as are available with the larger modules). 'On' time (after movement detection) is about 3 seconds, blocking time after switch-off about 2 seconds. The unit is re-triggerable, i.e. when it detects additional movement while it is switched on, then it remains on. This is exactly what I need for my purpose, you have to decide for yourself if this is ok for your application as well. Since the signal at the O output pin is only around 3 Volts while active regardless of the supply voltage (perhaps useful for connecting an Arduino or similar), you need an NPN transistor (with e.g. a 1 kOhm series resistor at the base) to get a higher and more powerful output signal for connecting, e.g., a relay. Standby current consumption is only about 15 micro-Ampères with a 10 Volt supply.

I ordered two of these, they arrived within the promised time window. On one of them, the red plasic cover on the rear was broken - but I can live with that. Concerning the measuring accuracy I have some mixed feelings. One of them was well within 1%, the other one rather within about 4% deviation of the actual value. Below about 25-30 Volts the display becomes quite dim and the display indicates random numbers but not accurate values. But: You get a sophisticated power-on indication at a bargain price that is far below the cost of a standard pilot lamp purchased in my country. BTW did you know there is an auto-adhesive, transparent, protective sticker on the LED display that can be removed?

Arrived in time. Not tested yet. but I assume will be ok according to the 3 other reviews. The only thing I'm not really happy with is the backup battery. It is soldered on the PCB instead of being replaceable in a battery holder. I asked the seller whether the battery is rechargeable or not (you can't see the label), but no answer up to now...

Arrived in time, works as expected at a sensational price. In addition, a circuit diagram is given in the online description - a rare find in this shop! Hovever I'm not sure whether the diagram and the actual circuit really match - the diagram shows e.g. an LDR (light-dependent resistor) for daylight sensing that is not included on the PCB. Delay and sensitivity controls are on-board, there is a jumper to select retriggerable or non-retriggerable mode. Minimum 'on' time (after movement detection) is about 1 second, blocking time after switch-off about 4 seconds. Since the signal at the output pin is only around 3 V while active regardless of the supply voltage (perhaps useful for connecting an Arduino or similar), you need an NPN transistor as shown in the online description to get a higher and more powerful output signal, for connecting, e.g., a relay. Standby current consumption is only about 100 micro-Ampères with a 10 Volt supply.

Arrived in time. The switches are nice, the box less so - it arrived in a total mess. Sorting the different switches took me almost an hour. According to the specs you get 10 pcs each of 25 different type switches, but from a few types there were only 9 pcs in the box. Nevertheless the price for almost 250 switches is very consumer-friendly.

This kit is easy and fun to build. But you need to have some experience with electronics tinkering and a soldering iron with a very fine tip. The quality of the PCB and the components is nice, the PCB comes with two SMD chips already installed. Assembly took me about 2.5 hours, the clock worked at the first power on without any problems. You get a lot for the price! An assembly and a user manual in a sort of English can be downloaded. But I think that the guy who wrote them knows neither Chinese nor English. If you want to understand what's written you have to do a lot of educated guesswork. Minus 2 stars! Setting the many, many parameters and optical effects with the help of the manual could be a little easier as well as less time-consuming. You can also have the time, calender, temperature etc. information voiced in Chinese or in broken English, as well as different alarm sounds; you even may upload your own alarm audio files - which I can do without since I only need the time display.

Ok for the price - but don't forget to clean the tips (e.g. rub with ethyl alcohol/methylated spirit) before using them since the contact resistance is less than optimum.

Good value considering the price. Very compact dimmer circuit with convenient external potentiometer. Heatsink a bit small for the rated power. My 1250 Watt workshop vacuum cleaner is very loud; when I don't need its full power I can now reduce its noise with this dimmer circuit. When cranked fully up the heat sink temperature rises to approx. 60° C (140° F). Therefor I assume that the size of the heat sink is too small for the rated load of 2000 W and the dimmer might overheat and/or get damaged over time.

BG131741355 Update: I had ordered 3 of these dimmers. Upon closer inspection I found that some solder joints are sub-optimal. I decided to re-solder all the joints. While doing this I discovered one joint that was not connected at all. -> Trust is good, control is better - or, as the Romans said: Caveat Emptor (customer beware). Minus one *.
