Phil Yes, almost 90 degrees from horizontal. Unfortunately, you have to make the adjustment before you fly.

Phil Push the left joy stick up then down to connect the drone to the controller. Google the EO17 drone & check out the Videos covering the drone.

Phil Have you tried simultaneously pressing and holding down the battery latch (found at the base of the arrow symbol on the underside of rear fuselage) and pulling the battery the out (opposite direction of arrow) ? I've never experienced the problem with any of my 3 batteries.
