Another good value. Far lower cost than offerings from the usual suspects in the north american market, but appears to do that same thing - and just as well. Right now I have this ATU hooked up to an improperly and hastily erected EFHW for 40 metres. A bit of a challenging load to match up every time. But it is usually able to bring the SWR within a safe range, and often down to 1:1.15 or so. Only disappointment is no built-in battery (supposedly some of these do have one). So for a QRP portable station it will require a separate power source.

Total consumption when no sun is about 17mA. I thing this value could be very bad in some applications. I appreciate consumption about 5mA with no sun. Anyway, I think this is good controller for noncritical use for example hobby purpose. In my case I just need a light in my garden shed. Now I am waiting for LED strips.

سؤال: if you can only draw 27W @ 5V + 24W @ 12V = 51W, how does that equal the advertised 100W panel? Can I draw the full 51W (4250 mA) @ 12V if I don't use the 5V outputs?

johnb It\'s good to watch the video about these. If you transition theough 3.4 volts, the output spikes to above 12, even if you have the voltage set to 5. Instant death if you\'re trying to power a Mini off the output of these

The thing that impressed me is this regulator has got an inductor coupled with the capacitor in the output section which most of these cheap regulators lack. Thus we get good filtered output. All over Good quality board. Tested them and they work as advertised.
