Eric Walton youneed to solder them yourself. remove from old board and solder on new board.

Q: what board version is it for flashing firmware. STM32F411jQuery111306684835316855235_1616464793274

Eric Walton IFyou plug it into betaflight and in the CLi tab type "version" without the quotation marks it will tell you exactly what board and version it is. You will likely find it is the MATEKF411RX (M41R) 4.0.5 Aug 1 2019 12:07:19 (839661b20) MSP API: 1.41 Hope this helps

Q: Will this work with any other Flight controller instead of just the Novice 3 one? I would like to attach it to a different quad? Thanks

I'm very pleased with the quality of the quad, but wish you could buy it on it's own. The VTX power needed to be increased as the distance for reception in a field miles from nowhere was around 25 metres! Look for the VTX command in Betaflight and change to number 4. The aerials on the quad are a bit short. The transmitter is pretty naff to be honest, I haven't used it at all - after reading other reviews on it, I chose to buy a TX16s and am very pleased with that transmitter. The goggles, Hmmm - a bit clumsy, too easy to catch the channel search button and completely lose image - not good when the drone is flying and you don't know where it is in front of you - even at 25m away in a wet field it could be lost. Apparently the aerial is not suitable - folks recommend a better one, and there's no recording on the goggles. I'm thinking of buying the Skyzone 02x. All in all, If you can buy the quad itself on it's own do that - I bought the 6 battery kit. Drone = 7/10 Transmitter 1/10 Goggles = 5/10 Hope this helps.

Arrived very very quickly - haven't tried them yet though. Look like good quality though. 8/10
