سؤال: Am curious: how can a USB port (which is rated at 5 watt) supply the power to a 12 watt lamp???

arowland I think you have confused your units. A USB 2 socket can deliver 0.5A at 5V, which is 2.5W. A long way short of 12W! USB 3 raised the current to 0.9A (4.5W) and 3.1 to 1.5A (7.5W), though some fast chargers these days supply up to 2.5A (12.5W), e.g. the sort many tablets use. So make sure you use a suitably rated power supply! A = amp (current), V = volt (voltage, obviously), W = watt (power). W = V x A. It isn't 'fantasy', ilbrunello, it's maths!

arowland Perhaps for the same reason _you_ aren't writing to this Chinese company in Chinese...
