After frying about 4 or 5 of the 20$ cheapo chargers on large cell count high-capacity batteries I knew it was time to step up to something better. With all the chargers I have tried, I realized the ones that always seem to keep going are the ones with the cooling fans built in. This charger has a nice large cooling fan. I am charging large 4s 5000mah and 6s 5000mah batteries on this and it is working great. I normally charge at 1c or 5 amps with these large batteries and they are holding up well. As an experiment I tried to charge at 2c a 6S 5000mah battery and as you can see by the picture this charger is up to the challenge. 10 amps! I like this charger because the menu is similar to the chargers, I am familiar with, and it seems to be doing a great job. If you need a powerful charger for large batteries, then maybe this is the one for you.

I tested this for power and here is what I saw. First thing I noticed was how incredibly smooth this unit is. Very well balanced! I was using an Aerostar 150 amp high voltage esc and 2 5000mah 4s 60c batteries in series. 124 amps, 3772 watts and 5 kilograms of thrust. I couldn't be any happier with these readings. I noticed the watts and amps were a little higher than advertised but the main thing, thrust was right there. Keep in mind this is stationary, batteries fully charged and the absolute best conditions. Flying through the air I suspect these readings will be less. If you compare this to the free-wing 90mm 8s edf unit this is a steal! I won't waste my time cobbling together mismatched stuff anymore and end up spending more anyway in the end. I haven't flown it yet but I know it will be awesome!

Wrongway Itested a freewing 90mm 8s 1390kv edf and it only produces about 4.6 kg. of thrust so this unit is an even better deal! this is the one to go to!

I grew tired of frying the 20$ chargers trying to charge my large 5000mah 4s and 6s batteries. I noticed over time that the only ones to continue operating always have a cooling fan of some sort. I finally decided to step up to something that would be able to handle sufficient capacity. I found this charger, watched some videos and gave it a try. Well as the photo shows but the numbers are hard to see, This charger will charge 2 6s 5000mah batteries at 1C or 5 amps each. I tried it first with the a.c. plug which cuts the available watts in half and it still was able to charge these batteries at 4amps. This is better than any of my 20 dollar single battery smoke machines that I have used in the past. (most max out at 3.3 amps for 6s) I am using a 350 watt d.c. power supply and it seems to be fine, although its rated wattage is actually less than this charger. Look if you have 1300mah 3s batteries you really dont need a charger this powerful you can use a parallel charge board and the less expensive chargers are just fine. But this charger has some great features and is well worth every penny. I just started using it, so time will tell if it holds up.

Wrongway Ihave 2 of these, the second one failed after using it 1 time. Unfortunately, I waited approx. 1 month before using it and Banggood was reluctant to honor any kind of warranty. they kept offering points but not the full value. I still like the charger and will probably buy another one. You can bet I will fire it up as soon as I get it!

Wrongway Update....Thischarger drops one of the charging circuits charging 2 5000mah 6s batteries at 5 amps I later discovered. At first I suspected the charger was bad but now I think the problem is my d.c. power supply. I can charge 1 5000mah 6s battery at 5 amps and the other at 3300 rate. i have not checked it to see how it performs using the internal a.c. power supply yet.

Wrongway Dudesorry to break the bad news but that cell tester you are using is horribly inaccurate. I have several and you should not trust them.

This charger legit unbalanced all of my batteries! It only charges them almost to the max and the difference between the cells is unacceptable, maybe its just my charger but I'm unhappy with this purchase, now I need to find an actual BALANCE charger. Only nice parts are you can see the internal resistance, and use it as a power suply for a foam cutter.

This is the first one of these free wing 70mm 2210kv inrunner units I have purchased, and i ran the power numbers on this. This is what I got. It pulled 88 amps, 2055 watts and produced 2.71 Kg. of thrust. That is nothing to sneeze at. I compared this to the FMS 70mm inrunner fan 1900kv and the amp, watt, and thrust were virtually the same. The FMS unit edged the free wing unit slightly on every parameter, but an insignificant amount. Either one of these will make your plane fly just fine. Bear in mind I have tested quite a few 90mm 6S units that don't produce this much thrust. Happy Happy!

My plane came in perfect shape, no damage. I bought the kit version. I installed the ep-power 3548 900kv motor on mine and a skywalker 60 amp esc. Both items bought here at Banggood. I found that the prop it comes with is not suited for 900kv, it pulled about 75 amps with that one. Had to dial it back to a 12x5 prop. now pulls about 55 amps. It really scoots with this motor, will hang on the prop and climb out handily. No its not scale, scale is no fun! Did have to open up between the bottom 2 cylinders of the faux radial engine for some cooling, I also cut a hole in the middle of the hub near the prop, I did it on the bottom so it isnt very obvious. Motor gets very hot otherwise. Had to install a proper pilot, not a helmet wearing jet head! Used a Dynam dude instead. Its a fun plane with great detail and flies really well. I use a 4000mah battery and a 3300mah. Highly recommend it!

Wrongway Iwould recommend a 5000mah 6s minimum. make sure your plane can balance with that. You arent going to get very long flight time with anything smaller unless you are very conservative.

I bought this for one of my current or future planes and I ran the numbers on my edf dyno, here is what I saw. 124 amps, 2800 watts and 4.1 kilograms of thrust. This is about as good as it gets for 6S. I tested this against the Free Wing 9 blade 1900 kv 90mm inrunner and this edged that out slightly by .1 kilos of thrust and slightly more amps/watts than the free wing unit. either of these units is a great buy. One thing worth noting is that the FMS comes with a metal housing whereas the Free Wing unit is plastic. A great buy and a super smooth unit!

These are about the best you can get for a 70mm edf. I did power tests with these and also the free wing 70mm 2210 kv inrunner, they are virtually identical. I got 87 amps, 2050 watts and it produced 2.78 kilograms of thrust. that will scoot your plane right along. these have slightly more power and slightly less amp and watt draw than the free wing, but a virtually insignificant amount. These will drop right in most free wing planes also, very minor modifications. Slight amount of foam trimming maybe. These numbers are static mind you. They dont pull this many amps flying through the air. I run these with a skywalker 80 amp esc.

I am sure I am not the only one to get burned on this, but it wasn't clear that what I ordered was the unit without the motor. Guess I should have looked a little closer.

these work well, I use them on all critical flight surfaces, aileron, elevator, rudder, throttle. You would have a bad day if you were flying and they became disconnected! Cheap insurance!

I bought a few of these to try, I used to use the black units from a different manufacturer, but they are discontinued. I put this in my 70mm edf F-86 similar to the one banggood sells or did sell. I am very pleased with its performance! Easy to use, nicely adjustable and works very well! I tried out the heading hold function and I dont really see the point, yes it keeps it going in the same direction but doesn't seem to correct if you are losing perspective of the plane. But as a pure gyro for smoothing out rough air it is perfect!

only took 15 days which was good going. However if ordering this Item be careful as CW and CCW are different to the direction of a normal propeller setup as I found out to my cost.
