سؤال: where are the springs? how does the suspension work?

Dom The springs are inside the damper, where the oil goes. However, mine were not strong enough to carry the weight. You can get stronger springs or just stretch these ones. I stretched mine and that worked well until I put metal gear housing and then it became too heavy again so I had to put stronger springs.

Dom Hello, It can be made to work with the B version with some slight modifications. In order to fit the larger motor I had to slightly file the upper plate that sits above the shaft as I couldn't get the pinion teeth to reach the gear, even though it has some movement of a few mm to adjust this - it just wasn't enough. I also had to put a smaller gear as that was hitting the same upper plate. There are some upper plates available that avoid these problems - they are slightly different and have a gap above for the gear. I also had a problem with the steering - it had too much slack on the left-hand side. I used the original steering rod and attached it above the upper plate using longer screws and plastic spacers.I didn't take away the metal one - this just sits forward of it; hard to explain without pictures.
