kmaclean56 Pretty far I went outside and went about 50 yards away lost contact and kept going and lost it.So it will do a long ways only problem is you will never see it again. It is really not made for outside unless it is perfectly calm, the wind really effects it.

kmaclean56 It is suppose to be water proof but I do notice condensation on mine
