These meters are essential if you employ lipo power to run equipment. I even hook them up to models with a low voltage cut offs. I set my low volt to alarm around storage voltage. 3.8 volts it goes off and soon thereafter I change out the battery or reset the alarm to 3.3 or 3.4. With the cost of a LIPO battery being as high as it is it pays in the long run to care for them as the experts advise, and like I said this is a essential item.
