Surely, the more light will be on a surface - the more glowing will be. We had some issue with our light switch, so we put a cat on a electric outlet, just because it is soooo-sooo cure. As you can see on a pictures, the cat`s tail is always hiding behind the electric outlet, so it is not as shiny, as ears and head. But if it all on a light, it is all good - I tested before applied. It will faded after 3-4 hours, I guess, but since I use it in a bedroom, it doesn`t bother. And by the way, the sticker is thin, so be careful with uneven walls (we have a timber wall).
