These motors are finished to a higher standard than the gold XXD motors, I prefer the Racerstar. These are very high quality motors and are balanced perfectly. This motor will be used as the propulsion unit in my FT Racer, which is a free Flite-Test plan. This is a fairly commonly built foamboard plane, and this motor is perfect for the plane. 1400KV 2212 Racerstar motor, 30A XXD ESC, Orange Gemfan 8 x 6 propeller. (if you are using this setup, it MUST be the orange Gemfan. The Gray Gemfan and the Black KMP 8 x 6 propellers are a completely different box of frogs, and will overload the motor.)
