Dropped this in my Traxxas Summit with a 20t pinion. Been running 4s (2x 2s Maxamps 6500mah 150c). I did 5 back to back speed runs with some heavy braking at the end of the runs(front flips at 100% force) and raced around a parking lot for maybe 10min. Esc was almost cool to the touch, very impressed, motor was a little warm to the touch. Confident I could run 6s, probably all day on the esc. I do recommend you get the programming card, brake force is weak at the default setting.

  • BG171311151 Update: Ran on 6s doing speed runs and it flew, but I got surging with the throttle cutting out and coming on, only at full throttle. Only did this in second gear, first gear had no surging, so that tells me the esc probably didn't like the tall gearing in the summit on 6s. Maybe that guy is right about the 150amp esc. Esc was still very cool, but the motor was getting pretty warm.. Tried 5s with a 3s and 2s pack, no surging but after a minute or 2 it would go into limp mode as if the batteries were low, but they were good.
