This is a motor for a drone though it will work fine on a plane. Since I fly planes it's perfectly fine for my needs. However, a few things need addressing. First, there is no mounting bracket that comes with this. I really don't know if you can buy them? If worse comes to worse you may have to make your own out of balsa wood or metal. As you can tell from the photos there are no bullet connectors on the motor. I know your first instinct is to solder/crimp the wires to the speed controller.

They are great motors especially given the price. They only weigh it at 18g without the nub.

put these on a 5” ultra light quad, awesome motors with a lot of power and whisper quiet. the motor wires, however, where to short and if you cut them and resold er, you must first scrape the wire ends to get the solder to stick. just use the pre-tinned ends. otherwise, great motors!
