It works just fine when the DC load is not too high. Definitely not 2A! With about 1A load the 12V stays 12V. Just enough to drive about 1 meter of LED strips. But no more. The connector cable is rather short. And the unit I received was extremely smelly; very strong chemical odor. All in all; suited for supplying power for a simple LED strip. Reasonable value for money.
