It took some getting used to but it does work quite nicely. Have to remember to remove the protective cap. Also, I found two focus points. One probably around half zoom and one almost at the largest zoom. For largest zoom you need to have it very close to the subject. The clear plastic bit at the end of the microscope almost touching the subject. The biggest letdown is obviously the stand. It's OK if you have it focused, but since the zoom is pretty firm - you will loose the point while trying to focus and then you loose distance. Back and forth a bit until you get it just right. Works well with the software provided for windows PC. They claim it works on Mac and android (including tablet & phone). Not sure how as there are no instructions which app to download. Cable is regular USB, so you would need micro USB adapter to connect to android tablet. Overall: Price is adequate.
