I found these lighting modules easy to manipulate. They have an advantage over the strip type in that they can be continues around corners without cutting and joining. I have used solder joints to attach several strings in series for a continuous line. The only thing that bothered me is that there are two distinct sorts, the modules are not identical and the color of the cable is red instead of blue. I was initially concerned as I thought the order may be incorrect, but bench testing showed they are all bright blue and the product numbers molded onto each module are identical. Unfortunately bench testing did not reveal the color variation. I can clearly see where each string is joined to the next one as the color is different. Apparently it is a faint difference as my wife said they look OK to her. Initially I was concerned that the feature lighting may be too pale, but as you can see it is BLUE. Note that these photos were taken before any of the downlights were fitted, so it will not seem as blue when the bathrooms are commissioned.
