I received today April 26. 2019 my preordered Fimi x8 Se from Banggood. The box was well protected shipped and free of any damages! The drone, RC and parts are well and pretty organized in the box. Erverything looks premium. I made a quick check of the IMU and compass before starting the first flight to ensure that the calibration is fine for my location. Fimi is doing this in a selfcheck when you start IMU check in the menue - very nice! All sensors were reported as well calibrated and no need for calibration. Manual start of the drone was easy and safe as the Fimi is flying very stable and you can control the drone smooth. I can only report a perfect first flight without any issues and the landing I made manually was easy moving the drone to landing position and the visual position system did a good job - soft landing without any bump. My first imperssion is: + easy set up + good self controlling systems in the drone app to make the flight safe + stable flight and direct reaction + easy landing and very smooth going on the ground + photo and video setup easy and auto mode did a good job but improvements by manual settings in pocket + noise is acceptable Improvements needed: - speed of turning with RC control is too aggressive, fast. Needs calibration to make it more smooth, at the beginning slow . Needed for photos. But I believe it is in the set up available to change this. I will review the first impression after some days and more flight experience with the Fimi. For now I can say: For the price level you buy a premium drone with a great performance!
