wgwgwg This VFD operates with the IGBT-Module called 7MBR10VKC-120-50. A brake-function is integrated in the chip. But it only brakes down with the power which is available to drive the motor. So if you have a high mechanical load on your drive and it has much energy stored in its rotating mass, may be the programmed breaking time will be to short. An error will be displayed. You can test how long it takes to bring it up to full rpm. About so long will be the shortest time to brake it down. An external resistor would produce a lot of heating and it is much business to install all correctly. I never needed it.

wgwgwg Never do it. 1.: 5 HP are eqivalent to 3,8 kw. That is another galaxy. 2.: This is a VFD for input and output 1 phase 220V. Not for 3 phases. Look for a more expensiv model and you will have success.

wgwgwg Not in this shop. Look in aliexpress. And let the offer confirm by the seller. Normally VFDs tahe the original voltage and change frequenzy. Changing voltage to a higher level along with this output (Watt) is not so easy and will be more electronic and probably more expensiv.
