--oz-- Its mode 1 or 2, simply open it up, and adjust the screw to switch modes. Dont listen to the other guy.

--oz-- Since I cant post links here, search BLHeli_s manual, all the settings are adjustable by Tx (kinda a pain, but no more a pain than any other esc Tx programming), or use a $2 arduino nano or use a flight controller (betaflight/etc).

boblocke AllI had to do was wrap the plastic cover around the receiver and use it as a conventional 6 channel receiver . I did not use the 16 channel S port.

--oz-- LEDs need the current controlled, if you just use a power supply with variable voltage, the current changes a lot with very very little voltage change, also when the led heats up, the required voltage drops a little. This causes a problem because the current will rise. At least use a resistor or a current limited power supply

--oz-- As a minimum, 4S is highly recommended unless your a beginner pilot. After a friend has success with 6S, he is now going for 8S.Use a larger spar.
