A real 150W SBT90.2 thrower that was measured 19.3A at 8.4V. Driver works at 2SX2 Li-Ion 8.4V using 3 parallel buck drivers topology of 13A output each that provides SBT90.2 almost 40A at its over-current limits and the only flashlight at this size with single SBT90.2 that can really exceed 7800 Lumen at cold start. Max beam light density at 5m was measured around 670Kcd (at 10m maybe closer to 750KCd ) therefore can't be beaten by any flooder ≥ 2.6° beam angle thrower flashlight. 4 X 18650 Li-Ion batteries of real 20A discharge current are required to see above max Lumen and 700KCd.

just received my sst-40 HK04. this light is AWESOME. I cannot begin to describe the quality, feel, and performance (so far, its only been a couple of days ). this is my first multi-battery (18650) high power light as well as my first Haikelight. packaging was excellent. bought Samsung 30q button tops, they work great in this. this thing throws very nicely with a great hotspot. on an inside wall the beam profile is interesting, but outside where I USE MY LIGHTS, beam is great! temp stays manageable on turbo similar to my FT03 XHP50 on turbo. it gets hot but after 5 minutes or more (summer weather). bought the "desert sand" color- the anodization is incredible. the color is nice, darker then most other mfg's sand color which I like. threads came greased really well, threads are also nice a square. it has the same NICE and POSITIVE feel when unthreading due to awesome machining, well done! also, the inside machining is excellent for the batteries. really appreciate the 3x 18650 instead of 4x. speaking of 3x 18650's, the light is smaller then I thought it'd be, which is awesome. it's still heavy, feels substantial and sturdy, but with a manageable feel in my (xl gloves size) hand. I will recommend this light all day to friends and others! the style/look was what originally drew me to this specific Haikelite, I think it's probably their best proportioned looking light. also, the option for high power xhp50, high throw xpl or mixture of both SST-40, really pushed me to give this light a try. and the price is unbelievable! also, Very Important - ThankYou BangGood! customer service, shipping time, and communication were excellent with this order! this is my 3rd order from BG, and they had this light to me in 3 weeks (CT, USA)!! and that was only because the desert color was not in stock when I placed my order, it may have been quicker! they have really stepped up their shipping times to compete with other CN distributors and I will be placing more orders!

arttrudelle Bezelis definitely made of copper.

Sehr schöne Taschenlampe mit viel Power, leider sieht es so aus dass die Bezel vorne aus Kunststoff ist und verkupfert wurde, da die in der Nacht Transparent ist.

I have been wanting the MF01 mini since i started this hobby 8 months ago. The light is beautifully machined, nice balance, weight, size, and design - they are all awesome. Mine (sst-20, 5000k, bare aluminum) came with the upgraded brass plate on the positive battery connect instead of the plastic plate. Great upgrade that some buyers paid extra for from a great group of BLF'ers who engineered and machined their own copper plates. I guess i got the new batch where Astrolux stepped up and improved the design with the the metal plate - Great work Astrolux! have to really tip the hat to a company who listens to the enthusiast community and fixes a problem like that. The light is Bright! The aux LEDs are not super bright, but look really nice. THE BUTTON - my favorite button of all my lights, it just has the perfect feel not soft, not extremely hard. Its great. The beam pattern is not my favorite which surprises me bc i was looking forward to my first 7x light. The throw is great but theres just something missing with the beam. anyway , glad i bought it.

my second astrolux light, and it's great! bought the xhp50 option, in silver, looks AMAZING. very bright, throws pretty well and doesn't get too hot too quick. I have the yootoo sd3, which takes a 21700 and kindve prefer that over this astrolux c8 18650 designs, although with the 18650 it has a noticeably smaller feel, which is good for back pocket carry. really like the silver finish!

arttrudelle it will technically, but you will probably need to modify the 18650 battery sleeve to hold it in place

arttrudelle I believe it has about 1000 more lumens. So although the you have less lumens with sst40, i believe the through is about 40% more. So, if you want brighter wait for XHP50, if you want still bright but more throw (distance of beam) go with sst40. I have sst40 on order. I would buy both :)

Gave it as a gift, but when i tried it out to make sure it worked - i almost kept it! Great gift light though, gave it to a casual user. USB charging and WOW factor made me go with this as gift. Definitely has more throw then my FW21 Pro, but it looked a little less bright. Still blindingly bright. Really nice feel in hand, very solid and feels much better made and higher quality then the FW21 Pro, and i am a huge Lumintop /fw21 pro fan. I almost want to sell the FW21 pro and pickup another one of these for myself. Especially on sale @ $43, versus the $65 i paid for the Fw21 pro... The "knurling" pattern on the EC03 is really nice, the light is solid feeling but not too heavy. The Fw21 pro is almost slippery smooth, but the tail cap button is what sells me on that light.
