Richtapp2k I used original pinion gear from fy08 and it worked really well until it was accidentally driven into a salt water river by an inexperienced operator

stock brushed motor could do with heat sink and/or cooling fan to ensure longevity in warmer temperature climates. polarity of wires was reversed on the one I bought but easy to swap ESC connections

better handling than the 144001 and easier to control due to the longer wheelbase. Great as a first RC car or adding to your collection, with plenty of inexpensive spare parts and upgrades available

don’t forget to locktite the screws when replacing!
