Ordered this kit thinking it would be a fun kit. What was received was a 'SMD LED Dot Matrix Digital Clock Production Kit Electronic DIY Clock Kit Electronic Production Parts - Blue' kit'. Double checked the package list and it even stated a 'LED Music Spectrum Clock DIY' Kit was ordered. Never the less, went ahead and assembled the clock kit which was a nice SMD kit and very enjoyable to assemble. The biggest disappointment came when putting the front and back panels on to wrap up the project and found the kit contained two backs with each having access holes for the switches and capacitor. This caused the front panel to have holes in the smoked plastic allowing the LED's to brightly shine through without any light filtering. Disappointed with Greekcreit on this order.

Awesome clock kit with a very nice display although the font size could be a little smaller on the year/month/day. Easy to build. The kit did not contain the instructions, but I was able to build none the less very easily and straight forward. I later did find the link to the instructions above the product specifications and found everything was assembled correctly when reviewing them. My only wish would be the instructions contained more information on the button functions rather than just the labels, but it is fairly intuitive know what the clock is supposed to do when setting the alarms after a little bit of playing around.

Nice little kit for a quick project. Worked fine the first time it was powered and with decent amplification.

Very nice magnification and especially like the light ring and the ability to switch between a bright white and a warmer light temperature depending on the task. Very nice design.

Awesome little radio to add to my collection. Reception and sound quality is better than expected. The kit was easy to build with no difficulties. Work the first time I powered on.

BG542210840 Icould use the instructions too. The kit I just got had zero instructions. The circuit board only had the reference numbers printed on it (no values) and there is no way to relate the resistors to the reference numbers on the board. Even the schematic would be nice. This is the second clock kit I have bought. The first worked perfectly first time, but I am an electronic engineer of over 35 years. This is NOT a hobbyists or amateurs kit in any way, unless you are very brave!. Do not purchase unless you are very well practised at soldering SMD (surface mount devices) These chips were designed for machine manufacturing processes, they were not designed for assembly by hand soldering. All assembly must take place under a strong magnifying glass with a very small soldering iron. I use one the size of a pen. The iron cannot be held on any components for long as damage will occur. It is a challenge to make, but the end result is worth it. I made it in a couple of hours. It is straight forward to anyone experienced, but I have all the instructions and the schematics, so if anyone needs any advice, please contact me. Only buy if you are VERY experienced and very competent at soldering, it is very tricky! The kit is great value and the end result is great to watch, and keeps excellent time, and it has been well thought out. The instructions supplied leave a bit to be desired, but generally straight forward.
