mpalmergbr Not much in electronics is truly waterproof, however it does appear to be water resistant as it has a thick, domed silicone moulding over the top of the PCB strip covering the LEDs. I do intend to seal the cut ends though (hot glue gun).

mpalmergbr The heart rate monitor is a accurate as my Garmin smart watch. As for the saturation level, I have no way of comparing that but it did seem reasonable. I would think it's better used as an indication of falling levels of oxygen in the blood rather than a precious level. For the money can you hook wrong?

mpalmergbr No as previouse person has stated it's USB micro. however I've had no problem with connection, I can move about with my phone or move away from a come back and the connection is remade.

mpalmergbr If it's anything like the usual candle moulds, you'll need a long needle or a doubled over piece of thin wire to pull the wick through a VERY small hole in the "base" of the mould. the top end (or bottom of the candle) wick can be held on place by a couple of cocktail sticks with elastic bands around them to hold them together.
