martinschwaller Its not an xray, it's just showing you light you would not see usually (thermal color/part of light). Basically anything you cannot see through normally will also block thermal 'light' but there may be a few exceptions (thermally coated glas -> less than visual transparency, thin curtain -> maybe you see through a little). Anyway if your on the james bond side of things its cool that you might be able to see footsteps under some conditions :)
