BG123171038 You are on the right track, 3S, 5200mAh 30c or 50c will give you the extra run time and a little more punch for you machine. Enjoy it I still enjoy running mine after a year of owning it different body but a blast to run.

BG123171038 Most 80amp ESC are rates for 3S lipp only, most 2150kv motors are rated for 3S only, I wouldn't recommend running a 4S on this modle. higher (5200mAh) or higher 3S can give you that extra punch and run time. you take a risk of burning out both ESC and motor

BG123171038 wouldn't recommend using 3s, tried that with a 3000mAh lipo motor started to smell funny. I only run 2s with 4600mAh lipo,

BG123171038 Yes, you need to purchase a programming card that has forward, forward and reverse mode. Note: Make sure it's compatible to Surpass ESC.
