Very pleased with this lamp!!! The beam and brightness for the priceI think are very good and would certainly recommend this lamp. I did not notice that i did not come with batteries, considering it was a rechargable lamp these should be given an an optional extra hence only 4 stars for value

You don't have to remove the batteries to charge them. Charging from the phone is handy. No need to carry extra chargers. Everyday or emergency use this is the light to have.
