I have a canon 80D camera and this fits it perfectly. There is enough room to extend it to the side to fit in a cable shutter release if you want. It also has the stops so that it won't accidently slide off the tripod head. It also fits both my ball head and pan head mounts for my tripod and monopod. The only minor inconvenience is the screw attaching I to the camera is a bit difficult to use, but not bad enough to cause a problem.
