I've never used gloves for cycling before (except winter gloves anyway) but when I had to replace the hoods on the brakes of my commuter bike I found the only ones that fit were giving me blisters and calluses so it was cheaper to get gloves than replace my whole brake system. These are a pretty good value. I bought the red ones thinking bright colors always help with visibility. they have a nice feature I hadn't noticed when shopping - a towel-like part running down from the thumb that seems to be designed for wiping sweat off your face with and it comes in handy. also someone told me the little pockets on the palm side of the ring and middle fingers make for a handy spot to put your earbuds if you want to take them out for a minute. These gloves are light and breathable. I really don't notice them while riding which is a good thing. The fit ran true-to-size as well so I'm happy with them.
