I use it with my UV-5R as stock antenna replacement. Works very well but not great better results than the stock antenna. Good value for money but if you want better performance antenna you must invest in something else.

Works great. Only thingie is that antenna is bigger then fitting on radio. You need to use sandpaper to trim some plastic on edges .. Then fits perfectly See pictures
