I bought a very cheap welding mask at the local store, with fixed darkening glass. It is quitte difficult to aim the electrode before firing it up. This auto darkening glass works great and reduces the light very well when welding, but is clear when not welding. The finishing of the sensor is not the greatest, but it is just cosmetics.

The JSS200N is excactly what replacement glass I needed for my auto darkening welding mask, because the installed one glass did not have the potensiostats for controlling the darkening responce.

I repaired my welding helmet with this lens. Working great so far on the two stick welding jobs I just completed.
