I am just getting into the RC airplane hobby using 1S 2S and 3S batteries. I've learned that LiPo don't store well at full charge so a storage voltage setting is nice with a discharge feature in case I change my mind after charging. The 2S balance charging is pretty good, but slow to finish at times. The 1S charging and storage doesn't operate properly, only brings my cells to 65% capacity at a 1C rate and 80% at 1/2C. Also the 1S storage feature doesn't want to discharge, only charge. I can perform a 1S discharge with adjusted target voltage. The memory settings are nice, but you can not adjust a retrieved setting. The touch screen works well, but the controller has some target value rules that are not intuitive. In some modes the fan control lets the charger get pretty warm before starting up the blades. I wonder if there are any safety limits, such as shut down for over temp conditions so it doesn't enter cremation mode. (Probably not...) Waiting for technical service or return help on this model.
