This is a great receiver for tiny non-FPV models, or FPV at small ranges (indoors). It delivers close to promised range outdoors with a clear line of sight and no interference (~300-400m are realistic, with the official claim being "up to 600m"). However, it seems to be highly susceptible to interference from 5.8G video transmitters. A test on my 120mm quad with a TX02 running (200mW) resulted in only 100m range before failsafe kicks in. Same quad with a TX03 set to 25mW manages between 150-250m. This is fine for indoor flying, which is what I do with the small 3" quad anyway. But for outdoor use, this is not really enough - you might want to go for the diversity-capable XM+ or full-range-with-telemetry XSR instead.
