in reality its a very cheap item. doesnt look as nice as in the pictures and is made off cheap toy-plastics... i am sure when it falls down the case breaks apart immediately. For that price you can get some nice things on BG, but this is a waste. the pump is also noisy, and the vibration it creates can be heard through the whole flat. the pipe/hose the unit comes with (the one you put in the water container) smells utterly plastic. i let run through 5 litres of warm water and still it smells toxic. For now i am not drinking out of this, or let anyone else i care about!!! maybe you can change the hose with another non-toxic one, but I dont know how the unit looks inside. (it probably wouldn't survive a peak, anyways) But i hope there is not another plastic hose inside, because then this would be non-applicable for food. china please use common sense, if we want to get our drinking water out of that, it should/can not smell like burnt rubber ! waste of time, waste of ressources. you are better off with your "old" food-grade stuff.
