The scale's entire top surface is covered by tempered thick glass. Glass is wiped up easily and doesn't retain dirt or odors. Although scale's slim design (25mm thick), the build is incredibly sturdy. It packs a backlit LCD display with large numbers and features: auto power-on/off, auto zero and calibration, low battery warning, 3 measurement weight units.
