The stepper motor with rail guide is of a good design for a small project. The stepper motor leads end in a 4 pin plastic connector compatible to my sample stepper motor driver board. Had purchased two of these stepper motor with rail guide assemblies to make a X/Y small table to demo position of 5mw laser head. There will be a few projects with this stepper driven lead screw with nylon nut assemblies and the shown stepper driver board.

It's ok overall, but the main issue is that the small length of the nut correlated with the big spacing between the plastic slider and steel bars (not as tight fit as it should), makes it shaky. So, maybe a longer nut and a tight fit with the slider will resolve the issues. I know that the friction will be increased, but the effort of putting that small pitch screw is diminished by that loose fit. Also the mounting holes from bottom are useless, because of tiny space between slider and bottom are

The tread is very fine (0.5 mm / turn) There is a small backlash. If you need a good guidance, use two items in parallel a some distance form each other (they are cheap enough) and have the motors electrically powered in series, such the same current pass through each, keeping them synchronized. With some micro stepping, you may obtain a quite fine position. Once at position, you may use PWM to reduce the current and avoid overheating, while using full voltage while moving..

Replacement is quick and easy, took around 20 minutes to disassemble, replace axis and reassemble the engraver. Works as well as the original part... can't ask more than that! Be aware, however, that these steppers do not handle current well when idle and will burn out if left powered, so turn your machine off when not in use, or buy in bulk!

Ottimo prodotto che ho messo alla prova usando una scheda Arduino , Pur sapendo che è una parte di ricambio per un altro prodotto, si sente la mancanza di indicazioni più precise sulle caratteristiche del motore ( rpm, torque ecc.)

Je n'ai jamais su faire fonctionner ce moteur... Peut-être est-il arrivé cassé, ou alors je me trompe dans les branchements. Pas facile de trouver puisqu'on ne trouve aucune fiche technique sur ce produit...

IT ARRIVED A LITLE BIT SLOWER THAN THE USUAL DELIEVERY TIME. IT LOOKS GOOD AND IT MOVES VERY SMOOTHLY. GOOD CHOICE FOR ME.
