A lot of flight controllers have a port for direct Spektrum satellite connection and binding which this will work with. Check with your specific FC and software documentation for the binding procedure - I use a Sparky board with Dronin. Range check is comparable to other DSMX clone satellites and over 1200m should be expected. The Orange LED on the Satellite will flash one time when power is first applied. It will flash several times during binding process. It will stay illuminated when satellite is functioning normally. I've seen it flashing once per second with signal loss.
