Universal remotes are hit and miss, but this is is definitely a miss. I tried binding it with different brands of TV, DVD players, Cable boxes, and nothing resulted in a satisfactory connection. Needless to say, I tried both the manual and auto mode of searching the appropriate code. At best, I could make the power switch work, and sometimes the channel buttons. But that's about it. It's either the buttons will do a different function or wont work at all. I could perhaps use the 'learn' capabilities

This remote is as described and is delivered without batteries and has an small manual with codes for your pairing devices for your remote but it does take time to set it up... And even more so if your codes does not work and you must manually input this with your original remote

This remote is very bad as learning function does not work in it...tried all the methods for making this remote learn the devices and even reset the remote but nothing works..had other model remotes of same brand which are good..but this product is useless..please refund or replace..

Purchased for TV in Vasn but to date have not tested it out. Will come back with better report later.
