I just received the product and I was thinking this was a paste. Its rock hard and you need to dip your iron in it to melt it and then solder. It hardens back into a rock as soon as you take your iron away. A paste to me can be brushed on or put into a squeeze bottle. No, go for this kind and they need to change the title.

It's a small box, a lot smaller than expected. Quality looks OK, almost transparent as this stuff should be. We will see in the long run how this helps in soldering...

Does the job and does it well. Not sure on the word soft used in item description as it is as hard as a rock so can not be applied as a paste as is. But if you google it on youtube you can make your own paste with this.

Fantastic rosin. I take it and dissolve it in isopropyl alcohol and keep it in a small dropper bottle. Can't work without it.
