I don't have much experience with RC tires but when compared to the original tires of HG P402 these grip much better and are a noticeably softer (I've tested mainly on the rocks or hard surfaces, not mud).
One negative thing is that the inner hole was too big on one side on all 4 tires (at least for my 2.2 beadlock rims). I wasn't able to seat the bed because the circumference was just too big. So I've decided to reduce them to fit (search youtube for "converting 2.2 rc tyres to 1.9").
But in the end I'm very satisfied with my purchase (especially considering the price) and would buy them again :)
