Mark Open it up re fit the battery, i had to undo the back and undo 2 screws covering the battery case and resolder the battery connections and re-screw the battery cover back in place i put some hot glue on the terminals too, then screw the back cover back on, leave the solar panel in a room window for at least a day so that the solar panel can catch the day light, then all should be ok

BG545445431 @Mark The orientation is wrong. The solar panel should be facing upward to receive max sunlight. Hope this helps.
