I have received the charger today. I haven't tried to connect it yet. The device came with a push button to be installed (soldered) and two resistors, I don't know what for are those two resistors, there is no any place on the board to place a resistor, the only available place is for the switch. It came with a Chinese manual, that I don't understand, but however, I'm sure there is no mention of the two resistors included. I'm not sure about the function of the switch but it might be a discharging function.
Great product, works perfectly in my Game Boy Zero project. Will be buying again.
I tested with 2A with a adjustable dummy load, and works well, not hot, the voltage is not drop down, excellent. +++++++++++++
a clean build on a good quality PCB. it does exactly what the description says and delivers at least 800mA at the output - I didn't test it for higher currents yet. very happy with this one.
Very good product but not perfect for every solution. The PCB quality is perfect and it can handle a good load but i see 2 imperfections that make it unusable for some projects: - When the item is charging the output cannot be turned off. - Disconnecting the input power resets the output for a very short time, but long enough to reset a Raspberry PI
