The unit feels quite tough and solid, not so sure about the additional quick release. I was expecting to get some sort of instruction as this won't work till it's programmed to your unit but sadly no manual. From working remote press old remote then let go, press the new and the old together then let go, press a pin into the centre hole of the old remote. Wait 10 seconds. From the garage door unit Press and hold the door code button on garage door unit. Press the button on this new remote for a second, then Off for a second. Again on for a second then off. Let go of garage door button.
