I used a variety of Adruino jumper cables and soldered one end to +ve and -ve of a USB connector. I then connected the other end (male) to the fan. I am currently using it to blow air on my laptop's GPU. It is quiet has a small cooling area and dropped my GPU temp by 10°C. I have one more free USB port on the laptop so I can add a 2nd fan (to work as extractor).
