this is a great little rod. the action on the reel is smooth. casting is a breeze. my son has taken this from me and uses it weekly. the second eye has come loose, but really just needs to be properly glued back onto the fiberglass of the rod. the rod is a bit stiff, but it does not seem to be an issue. Love this little thing!

je voulais une petite canne à emmener partout sans prendre de place, mission réussie. Grâce à elle je n'ai plus de remords quand je pars en week end et que je dois faire un choix dans les bagages à emmener... Changer le fil est un peu fastidieux mais on a rien sans rien. Tellement satisfait que j'en ai acheté d'autres par la suite pour cadeaux

The rod was what I expected. Reasonable quality & should last for reasonable time. Will be interested to see if salt water causes any corrosion overtime. I removed the existing fishing line which had a very light breaking strain & replaced with a heavier braid line.Was quite easy to replace. Quite happy with product at this stage until I actually try successfully fishing with it.
