This scribe is perfect for marking out soft metals like brass copper and mild steel. It works well with any of the well known dyes on the market. Mine is also used for pattern transfer with carbon papers. The extra fine and strong point is just a perfect size to remove waste paper from lace paper cutting. A versatile tool for a number of crafts. one small problem is the round and comfortable handle is also perfect for rolling off the workbench or table.
